Micqui McGowen, CMKBD, RID has been in the Kitchen and Bath Industry for over 18 years. She is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Interior Design, is a registered Interior Designer in the State of Texas and a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD).
Ms. McGowen has been published in Houston House and Home Magazine and was featured in Kitchen & Bath Business magazine in their article "Cool 5 Under 35 - Five Industry Pros 35 or Under." A Kitchen designed by Micqui was also published in "Woman's Day Kitchens and Baths." Micqui received two honorable Mentions in the 2002 NKBA Kitchen Design Competition. She has served on a Sub-Zero advisory committee for new product design and development and is frequently quoted in national publications.
Residential kitchen and bath design is Micqui's main focus, however, other projects include cabinetry design for corporate office kitchens, a dental clinic, design of national exhibits for a widely distributed Texas cabinet manufacturer and design work for several appliance and cabinet showrooms.
Micqui has served locally on the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Texas Gulf Coast Chapter Board of Directors and was elected to the National Board of Directors of NKBA in 2003. Micqui has also served on the National Test Board Committee for NKBA and the ad-hoc committee to rewrite the NKBA Guidelines for safe design in the Kitchen and Bath.
Micqui is a partner in Kitchen & Bath Concepts.

Peggy McGowen, ASID, CMKBD, RID The Kitchen Queen, is founder of Kitchen & Bath Concepts in Houston, Texas, which has specialized in consultation and design of new and remodeled kitchens and baths since 1986. On April 1st, 2011, the company celebrated 25 years in business. Peggy started KBC on April Fools Day, after working as a designer for seven years elsewhere.
Peggy is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer. She is a Past National President of the NKBA, and a Past President of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of ASID. She is also a long-time member of the Houston Culinary Guild.
Peggy has been featured in local and national publications such as Houston House & Home, Texas Culinary Thymes, Interior Design, House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens, Women’s Day Kitchens & Baths, Kitchen & Bath Business, Kitchen & Bath Design News, Who’s Who in Kitchens & Baths and a special feature project for Country Living Magazine for WoodMode Cabinetry.
She is a frequent speaker at local and national home shows and trade conferences, and has judged Design Competitions for the NKBA, NARI, SubZero and others. She has appeared on HGTV several times and is an award-winning designer herself. Over her years in the industry, she has served on advisory councils for manufacturers such as Dacor, KitchenAid, SubZero, WoodMode and others. She often presents seminars and industry forecasting programs for professional and consumer groups.
Peggy is married to Maurice McGowen, retired, and they enjoy spare time at home on Galveston Bay, or in Los Angeles, near grandchildren. Daughter Micqui is also a CMKBD, and partner in KBC. Daughter Marci Daly and her family live in Los Angeles – there are lots of direct flights between Houston and L.A.

Tiffany Edwards, ASID, CKD is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Art. She is a Registered Interior Designer with the State of Texas and is working towards her CKD and CBD certification. She is a current Professional Member of ASID and a member of NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association).
Her 4 years of experience has given Tiffany a strong foundation in the kitchen and bath design industry. This knowledge and expertise are vital contributions to Kitchen and Bath Concepts. Tiffany has recently relocated back to her Houston hometown from Fort Worth, TX. Her and her husband, Santana, were recently married back in August of 2006 and look forward to calling Houston their home once again.

Ines Lombardi, originally from Venezuela where she graduated in Architecture, has worked in the kitchen and bath industry for more than 20 years. She is a member of NKBA, and holds certifications for CKD and CBD. Her broad experience includes new construction and remodeling projects in traditional and contemporary styles. What she loves most is working with clients to achieve their kitchen and bath design dreams. Every project poses challenges and finding the best solution for the client is her mission.
She has recently relocated to the Austin area, becoming the local contact for KBC.

Debbie Harp, AKBD received an Associate of Applied Sciences in Interior Design from Lone Star College - Kingwood, an NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) endorsed school. She is also current member of NKBA and has obtained AKBD certification. Debbie brings over 30 years of accounting experience to KBC. Her strong detail orientation meshes with her knack for design to create kitchens and baths that work within your budget.
Debbie supports the owners of KBC with budgeting and daily bookkeeping. She also assists the other designers with the accounting of each and every job. She is a native Texan and has called Houston her home since 1965. She enjoys traveling in her spare time and is especially interested in old world architecture and antiques.

Lauren Haskett, AKBD graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s School of Architecture with a Bachelor in Interior Design and a minor in Art History. Lauren’s passion for design began at an early age, but her interest in kitchens and baths was sparked by the remodels she completed with her soon to be Mother-in-Law while working for her in Oklahoma.
Her experience with all facets of residential design paired with her knowledge of AutoCad is a beneficial combination for KBC. Lauren is a member of NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) and is working toward her N.C.I.D.Q. certification and her certifications in Kitchen and Bath design.
Lauren moved to Houston in December 2006 to work with the experts at Kitchen & Bath Concepts. She and Bryce were married in June 2007. The two enjoy traveling and Sooner Football.

Caroline Jones graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with an Associates Degree in Applied Science after completing two years in Graphic Design.
Her passion for design and her ability to create inspired her to establish “Fine Lines by Caroline Custom Homes”. Her experience of over 21 years has produced hundreds of projects in varying styles including Mediterranean, Tuscan, Victorian, Ranch and Contemporary, ranging from small, restful lake retreats with leisure outdoor living spaces, beach cabins with panoramic views and soaring ceilings, to rambling lodges in the hills of Texas.
Caroline has now joined the Design Team at Kitchen & Bath Concepts where her diverse design experience and her interpretation of lifestyle needs blend perfectly with KBC’s beautiful custom kitchen and bath designs.

Ashlee Arter received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Interior Design from Lone Star College- Kingwood- an NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath) endorsed school. She is a member of the NKBA and is working towards her AKBD certification.
Ashlee brings her education and passion for kitchen and bath design, and her ability to communicate and work well with various types of people to KBC. Ashlee is a Houston native who loves to travel to Florida and California. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and her husband Kyle, watching Texans football, and shopping.
